NICK LE JUGE

“Loving Justice and Consumed by Rock”

Was a lawyer in the French-speaking part of Switzerland before dropping everything and going to Los Angeles with only a bass guitar in his bag. He spent some time in the City of Angels playing rock. Then he returned home in Switzerland and worked as a district judge for a few years but his soul was still haunted by rock music. Some local politicians confronted him and demanded that he give up music if he wanted to continue being a judge because they deemed rock music very unsuitable for his judicial career. These esteemed members of the political and judicial system equated rock music with all that is evil in the world ! NICK chose to keep playing rock because it was imprinted in his roots and guts. He consequently was kicked off the judge bench but had the last word by continuing his musical career under the moniker of “NICK LE JUGE” (Nick the Judge), which has a double entendre meaning that irks his former peers. In French street slang, “Nick” means “F*ck”, so in essence Nick’s stage name is “F*CK THE JUDGE” !
